The Town of Mattawa, in coordination with the Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA), will complete water system repairs as part of OCWA’s long-term capital infrastructure plan.

The work has been scheduled to take advantage of current weather conditions, water usage patterns, system demand, and water availability to minimize disruption to residents.

During the repairs, residents may experience temporary fluctuations in water pressure and some water discolouration.

If your water becomes discoloured, please run your cold water tap until the water runs clear.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to maintain and improve our municipal water infrastructure.

Work will begin October 14, 2026 and take approximately one week to complete.
