Clean Water and Wastewater Fund (CWWF) Projects
The Town of Mattawa was successful in obtaining funding from the CWWF (a partnership between Mattawa, the Federal Government and our Provincial Government) for two of our water system infrastructure needs. Both projects are nearing completion, and each of these projects will improve the health, safety and reliability of our water system in Mattawa.

Mattawa Water Distribution Systems
Mattawa Residents obtain drinking water from the municipal water distribution system. We obtain 100% of our water from 2 drilled wells. Treatment of our water is minimal and we add chlorine as mandated by provincial legislation to protect the water from infection while it is in the water main pipes on its way to all the homes we service in Mattawa.
